Most electrical energy produced by pedalling on static bicycles for 24 hours

According to Official Guinness Records,

The most power produced by pedalling on bicycles for 24 hours was 72, 414 watt hours and was achieved by Soreen UK at the Manchester Velodrome, Manchester, in UK on 2 December 2010.
The record was achieved using Watt bikes which measures the Watt hours as opposed to producing the electricty. Soreen UK had sponsored the entire event which started on 1st October and finished on the 2nd October 2010. Around 500 members of the general public that had pre registered and come down to the Velodrome on the day had signed up to take part in the attempt. They also managed to raise a sifficient amount of money cycling for charity.
