According to Official Guinness Records,

Richard Taylor (NZ), effects supervisor at Weta Workshops in Wellington, New Zealand, has won technical Oscars across a record three disciplines: Visual Effects for King Kong (NZ/USA/Ger, 2005), and Costume Design and Make-up for The Return of the King (USA/NZ/Ger, 2003).
