Most participants in a collaborative animated film project

According to Official Guinness Records,

The most individual contributions to an animated film are 1897 for The Tate Movie Project ‘The Itch of the Golden Nit’ screened at the Tate Britain, London, UK, on 14 June 2011.
‘The Itch of the Golden Nit’ (running time: 33 minutes) is an animated film fuelled by drawings, sounds and ideas of children aged between five and thirteen. This Tate Movie project launched 14 July 2010 as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
