According to Official Guinness Records,

The most people embroidering simultaneously is 1,307, achieved by Qingdao Elizabeth Medical Consulting Co., Ltd. and the Chinese Cheongsam Association (both China) in Hong Kong, China, on 22 January 2018.The record was attempted during an annual meeting of Cheongsam associations from across China. The participants embroidered gold stars on red flags to make the flag of the People's Republic of China, also known as the Five-star Red Flag or Wǔ-xīng Hóng Qí.The five stars on the flag and their relationship represent the unity of the Chinese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
