Chris Gayle (Jamaica) finished on 175 not out – the highest score by a player in any professional Twenty20 innings – for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors in the Indian Premier League in Bangalore, India, on 23 April 2013. Gayle brought up three figures in a record 30 balls and his explosive innings featured 13 fours and 17 sixes, the most sixes by a player in a Twenty20 innings and the most runs scored in boundaries by one player in a Twenty20 innings (154).
