Most sprint triathlon races completed in one year (male)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The most sanctioned triathlons completed in one year is 123 and was achieved by Bart M. Hackley (USA) from 21 Feburary 1988 to 19 February 1989.
Bart ran a triathlon in 12 different states and five different countries (United States, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, Mexico and Canada).
