According to Official Guinness Records,

The most targets hit with axes in one minute are 6 and were achieved by Patrick Brumbach (Germany) on the set of Zheng Da Zong Yi - Guinness World Records Special in Beijing, China, on 17 November 2009. Patrick used his own axes, which are in accordance with our guidelines.
