Newest lemur

According to Official Guinness Records,

The newest species of lemur to have been scientifically recognized are the Marohita mouse lemur Microcebus marohita and the Anosy mouse lemur M. tanosi, which were described together in March 2013 and, like all lemurs, are native to Madagascar. Each of these was distinguished from all previously known, outwardly similar species of mouse lemur by sequencing its genes, which revealed a number of specific differences confirming its status as a valid, distinct species.
