According to Official Guinness Records,

The shortest pulse of light is 43 attoseconds and was achieved by Attosecond Science Group - ETH Zürich (Switzerland), Hans Jakob Wörner and Thomas Gaumnitz (both Germany) in Zürich, Switzerland, verified on 30 October 2017. The record was measured with an attosecond beamline/apparatus at ETH Zürich using the attosecond streaking technique.An attosecond is a billionth of a billionth of a second.
