Spinning top - duration

According to Official Guinness Records,

Ashrita Furman (USA) spun a spinning top for 7 hr 1 min 14 sec, before its rim made contact with the ground at The Madd Fun Arcade, Brooklyn, New York, USA, on 18 November 2006.
A Korean wooden top was used.
