Youngest person to play in English league football (soccer)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The youngest player to appear in an English league match is Reuben Noble-Lazarus (United Kingdom, b. 16 August 1993), who came on as a substitue for Barnsley, aged 15 years 45 days, at Portman Road, Ipswich, United Kingdom, on 30 September 2008.
Barnsley lost the game 3-0 against Ipswich. Reuben was too young to be paid so Barnsley manager Simon Davey quipped that he would be paid with a ham sandwich and some pizza.
