According to Official Guinness Records,

The youngest player to appear in the English Premiership is Matthew Briggs (UK, b. 9 March 1991), who came on as a substitue, playing for Fulham in their 3-1 defeat against Middlesbrough on 13 May 2007, aged 16 years 65 days.
