Cycling – women's 1 hour unpaced standing start

According to Official Guinness Records,

The greatest distance cycled over one hour by a female cyclist is 48.007 km (29.83 mi) and was achieved by Vittoria Bussi (Italy) at the Aguascalientes Bicentenary Veldrome in Aguascalientes, Mexico, on 13 September 2018. Vittoria attempted the record a day before but withdrew had to withdraw 44 minutes in due to a pain in her side. She had an unsuccessful attempt on the record in October 2017 where she fell 404 meters short. Since then she has focused on improving her conditioning and nutrition to achieve the record.
