Fastest 100 m by a land mammal

According to Official Guinness Records,

Sarah, an 11-year-old cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) achieved a 100-m run from a standing start in 5.95 seconds. The record was set on a USA Track & Field-certified course established by the Cincinnati Zoo at its Regional Cheetah Breeding Facility (Mast Farm) in Clermont County, Ohio, USA, on 20 June 2012.
