The fastest marathon dressed as Santa Claus (female) is 3 hr 43 min 20 sec and was achieved by Amy Smith (UK) at the Portsmouth Coastal Waterside Marathon in Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK, on 22 December 2013.
Amy, a lifelong fan of Guinness World Records, wanted to combine her love of record breaking with her passion for running. This was Amy's fourth marathon and she decided to kick off the festive period by breaking a record dressed as Santa Claus three days before Christmas Day.
