According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest marathon wearing chainmail (upper body) is 4 hrs 50 min 16 sec, achieved by Thomas Langdown (UK) at the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon, in London, UK, on 23 April 2017. Thomas wore chainmail weighing over 20kg in order to set this record.
