According to Official Guinness Records,

The US variable-geometry, or 'swing-wing' General Dynamics FB-111A has a maximum speed of Mach 2.5. The Russian swing-wing Tupolev Tu-22M, which is known to NATO as 'Backfire' has an estimated over-target speed of Mach 2 but could be as fast as Mach 2.5. Mach 2.5 (2.5 times the speed of sound) is roughly equivalent to 2,655 km/h (1,650 mph).
