Fastest row, Men’s Coxless Pairs (M2-)

According to Official Guinness Records,

New Zealand rowers Eric Murray and Hamish Bond smashed the decade-old record for the men's coxless pairs by almost six seconds when they crossed the finish line in a time of 6:08.50 on 28 July 2012 on the first day of competition at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
