Fastest speed skating [long track] 2 x 500 m (female)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest 2 x 500 m by a female skater as recognised by the International Skating Union is 1 minute 14.19 seconds, by Heather Bergsma (USA, née Richardson) at the US Olympic Trials on 28 December 2013 at the Utah Olympic Oval in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. She completed in her first 500 m race in 37.10 seconds, and her second in 37.09 seconds.According to ISU rules, skaters can only qualify for the 2 x 500 m record “only from competitions where the final result of the 500 m is determined by the total time after 2 races”. Therefore aggregate times for individual 500 m races at the same event (e.g. Lee Sang-hwa’s 1 minute 12.93 seconds on 15–16 November 2013) do not meet the criteria for world record status.
