According to Official Guinness Records,

The farthest distance run in 12 hours on a track, as sanctioned by the IAU (International Association of Ultrarunners), is 163.785 km (101.771 miles) and was achieved by Zach Bitter (USA) in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, on 14 December 2013.
Bitter's run is the furthest over 12 hours on any surface – even longer than Yiannis Kouros' 162.543-km road run in 1984 in New York.
