Fastest stilt walker - 8km

According to Official Guinness Records,

Ashrita Furman (USA) covered 8 km (4.97 miles) on stilts on the Huan Dao Road, Xiamen, China, in a time of 39 min 56 sec on 17 December 2004, beating the previous record held for 112 years by 2 min 4 sec. He was travelling at an average speed of 12.13 km/h (7.53 mph).
He completed 8.04 km (5 miles) in a time of 40 min 7 sec (with an average speed of 11.85 km/h (7.36 mph).
