Fastest swim long course 1,500 metres freestyle (female)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest long course 1,500 metres freestyle swim by a woman is 15 min 20.48 sec, by Katie Ledecky (USA) during the TYR Pro Swim Series event at the Indiana University Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, on 16 May 2018. She beat her own world record by exactly 5 seconds in her first swim after turning professional.Ledecky now holds the eight fastest times ever recorded in the 1,500 m freestyle. She has swum the event 18 seconds faster than other female swimmer in history.
