Fastest swim long course 200 metres butterfly (male)

According to Official Guinness Records,

Michael Phelps (USA) won the 200 m butterfly at the 2009 FINA World Championships in a time of 1 minute 51.51 seconds in Rome, Italy, on 29 July 2009. It was the eighth time he had set a fastest time in the 200 m butterfly – his time of 1 minute 54.92 seconds, recorded aged 15 on 30 March 2001, was Phelps’s first ever world record.
