Fastest swim long course 50 metres backstroke (male)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest long course 50 m backstroke by a male swimmer is 24.00 seconds, by Kliment Kolesnikov (Russia) at the European Aquatics Championships in Glasgow, United Kingdom, on 4 August 2018.The 18-year-old Kolesnikov beat Liam Tancock's record of 24.04 seconds, which was achieved in 2009 during the so-called “supersuit era”, when swimmers wearing (now banned) hi-tech non-textile swimsuits set a host of long-standing records.
