According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest time to visit 48 contigous US states by bicycle (female) is 43 days and was achieved by Paola Gianotti (Italy), in the USA, from 1 May - 12 June 2016. With the money Paola collected, she bought 71 bicycles together with 'Bicycle against Poverty' for women in Uganda.
