The fastest toilet was built by Colin Furze (UK) and reached a speed of 53.25 mph (85.6 km/h) on 25 May 2013 at the Shakespeare County Raceway in Stratford Upon Avon, West Midlands, UK. Furze – a plumber and handyman – adapted a mobility scooter by adding a 140cc motorbike engine and a toilet seat.
