First coin

According to Official Guinness Records,

The earliest coins recorded were made during the reign of King Gyges of Lydia, Turkey, c. 630 BC and consisted of electrum, a naturally occurring amalgam of gold and silver. A Chinese uninscribed spade money of the Zhou Dynasty has been dated to c.550 BC.
