First leg-ringed bird

According to Official Guinness Records,

The earliest known example of a bird being leg-ringed is a grey heron (Ardea cinerea) that was ringed during the early 1700s in Turkey, and was then identified by virtue of its ring in 1710 when observed in Germany.
