First female pro League of Legends player

According to Official Guinness Records,

On 12 August 2015, Maria Creveling aka "Remilia" (USA) effectively became the first female League of Legends player to turn pro when her team Renegades qualified for the lucrative League of Legends Championship Series (LCS). Maria plays in a support position in the game, and had previously earned a reputation by obtaining the highest rank of Challenger in the game's online multiplayer.Having qualified for the LCS, Maria announced over social media that she may decide not compete at the tournament, and that one of her goals was to show that a female could qualify for the prestigious series. She wrote: "I just want it to be known that I accomplished my goal for real, and I accomplished it for me, my teammates, and girls in esports. That’s it. No one else."
