First heliocentric Solar-System model

According to Official Guinness Records,

Just before his death in 1543, Nicolaus Copernicus (Poland) published On the Revolutions of the Celestial Spheres, in which he outlined his revolutionary notion of heliocentrism – the idea that planets travel around the Sun. It took at least another 150 years for his idea to become widely accepted.
