The first NBA All-Star MVP was Ed Macauley (USA), at Boston Garden, Boston, Massachusetts, USA, on 2 March 1951. Ed scored a game-high of 20 points in the first NBA All-Star game in history. The game was played in front of 10,094 crowd.
