First television live-action sci-fi sitcom

According to Official Guinness Records,

My Favorite Martian (CBS 1963–66, USA) followed the exploits of a Martian “exo-anthropologist” (played by Ray Walston) who crash-lands on Earth and is rescued by a newspaper reporter (played by Bill Bixby, USA), who passes him off to the authorities and his friends as an uncle. A popular show, it ran for three series and directly inspired fantasy shows that used the ''My'' title style, such as: My Living Doll (CBS 1964-65) in which a guy has to look after a stunningly beautiful robot girl;and My Mother the Car (NBC 1965-66) in which a guy''s mother is reincarnated as his car! It also opened the door for a deluge of sci-fi and fantasy comedy hits such as Bewitched and The Addams Family (both USA).
