According to Official Guinness Records,

Walter Cavanagh (b. 1943) of Santa Clara, California, USA has collated 1,497 individual valid credit cards. The cost of acquisition to "Mr. Plastic Fantastic" was nil, but they are worth more than $1.7 million (£912,213) in credit.The cards are kept in the world's longest wallet measuring 76.2m (250ft) in length and weighing 17.49kg (38lb 8oz). If laid end-to-end, Cavanagh’s credit cards would reach the top of a four-storey building
