Heaviest manmade water strider

According to Official Guinness Records,

In 2008, a team led by Wei Pan at Tsinghua University, Beijing (China) announced their development of a technique for coating the wire legs of an artificial water strider with extremely water repellent polymer nanofibres. This makes the strider's legs so hydrophobic that they do not break the surface tension of water even when holding a weight of 1 gram - around 100 times heavier than a real water strider.
