Highest altitude kayaking

According to Official Guinness Records,

The highest altitude kayaking is 5,707 m (18,723 ft) and was achieved by Daniel Bull (Australia) at Ojos del Salado, Atacama Desert, Chile, on 7 March 2018.Daniel climbed toward the summit of the highest volcano in the world, Ojos del Salado, to reach the location of his record attempt, using his ice axe to pull himself and his kayak along the surface of the frozen lake to break the ice and prepare a kayaking lane. Daniel achieved the record without the use of an oxygen mask or similar breathing apparatus.
