Highest "low"temperature

According to Official Guinness Records,

Over the course of a 24-hour period in the coastal city of Quriyat (also Qurayyat), Oman, the air temperature did not drop below 42.6 degrees Celsius (108.7 degrees Fahrenheit) on 26 June 2018. The peak temperature within the same day was 49.8 degrees Celsius (121.6 degrees Fahrenheit).The highest "low" temperature is not currently a record monitored by the World Meteorological Organisation as of July 2018, though this may change in the future. These findings were reported by independent meteorologist and weather historian Maximiliano Herrera, who collates official and unofficial temperature records on his website: www.mherrera.org/temp.htm.It's believed that the previous highest "low" temperature in a 24-hour period was 41.7 degrees Celsius (107.1 degrees Fahrenheit), recorded at Khasab Airport – also in Oman – on 27 June 2011, and equalled in Death Valley, California, USA, on 7 July 2012.The highest recorded temperature ever – officially recognized by the World Meteorological Organisation – was 56.7 degrees Celsius (134 degrees Fahrenheit), measured on 10 July 1913 at Greenland Ranch in Death Valley, California, USA.
