Highest resolution microscope

According to Official Guinness Records,

The highest resolution microscope measures up to 0.39 ångströms, achieved by researchers at Cornell University (USA), in Cornell University, Ithaca, USA, as published on 18 July 2018.0.39 ångströms is 3.9X10^-11 metres. The record breaking microscope used a method called ptychography, where electrons pass through an object/sample to produce a series of 2D diffraction patterns. Once the patterns form, there is enough information in the image to work backwards to form the image of the original diffraction object. The reversal of information requires computational algorithms. The researchers are the first to show ptychography can be used to go beyond the resolution limit of conventional electron microscope lens imaging.
