Most Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) airborne simultaneously

According to Official Guinness Records,

The most Unmanned Airborne Vehicles (UAVs) airborne simultaneously is 2,066 and was achieved by Intel Corporation (USA) in Folsom, California, USA on 15 July 2018.This record celebrates Intel's 50th anniversary. All drones were controlled by one computer and performed an impressive light show choreographed into an aerial ballet spectacle accompanied by music. Each drone is capable of 4 billion colour combinations and the animations included Intel's old and new logo to show their growth as a company over the 50 years, the 'bunnies' who look like dot to dot astronauts in the sky ('bunnies' is the name for the tech specialists who work in their labs wearing white overalls), a human brain with a microchip in the centre, a processor etc. Intel wanted to create a show for their employees that was meaningful to them and reflected their history and also their new ventures.
