The largest gathering of escaramuzas is 129 participants and was achieved and organized by the Cámara de Comercio de Guadalajara (Mexico) at the Glorieta Minerva, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, on 8 September 2012. All of the participants were females that ranged in age from 5 years old to 50 years old. There was a total of 16 teams and each team had 8 participants. The total was 129 because one participant from a separate team wanted to participate and was invited along. The participants always ride in pairs, with the exception of the one group of three during the attempt. They all performed a routine that lasted 17 minutes and 25 seconds, which exceeded the time they all had to remain together (10 minutes) for the record attempt.
