Longest water polo shootout

According to Official Guinness Records,

The longest water polo penalty shootout lasted 20 rounds, and was won by the USA women's team over Canada at the final of the Pan American Games in Guadalajarra, Mexico, on 28 October 2011.
The game was tied at 8-8 and in the shootout, USA converted 19 out of the 20 shots while Canada scored 18 of the 20. The final score was 27-26 to the USA
