The largest treasure hunt game consists of 1,384 participants, achieved at The 28th Treasure Hunt Game of Rethymno (Greece), in Crete, Greece, on 12 February 2017Each year the town of Rethymno holds a treasure hunt and the prize is the honour of organising the next year's treasure hunt.
