Largest wine tasting event (multiple venues)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The largest wine tasting event was organised by JD Wetherspoon and involved 17, 540 participants tasting wine in 409 pubs across the United Kingdom, on 21 May 2008.
The wine used for the attempt was Fetzer Coldwater Creek Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, White Zinfandel Rose and Merlot.
