According to Official Guinness Records,

The largest Yoga lesson (multiple venues) involved 62,824 participants and was organised by Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, President of Shanthivana Trust ® Dharmasthala (India), in 47 locations across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Districts of Karnataka State,India,on 13 December 2013.
