Longest career as a baseball announcer

According to Official Guinness Records,

Ernest 'Ernie' Harwell (b. 25 January 1918 USA) is the world's most durable baseball announcer. His 55-year career began in 1948 with the Brooklyn Dodgers, followed by the New York Giants (1951-53), Baltimore Orioles (1954-59) and Detroit Tigers (1960-2002). In the course of his career, Harwell has announced more than 8,300 major league baseball games.
