According to Official Guinness Records,

The longest career as a motor racing driver is 55 years 135 days and was achieved by Alan Baillie (UK, b. 17 January 1937), whose first race was in an Austin Healey at the Nottingham Sports Car Club's 10th Annual Motor Race Meeting at Silverstone, UK, on 16 June 1962. He has raced every year since then, with his latest race on 29 October 2017 in a Cooper T71/73 at the Algarve Classic Festival’s Historic Grand Prix Cars Association (HGPCA) race for pre-1966 Formula 1 cars held at the Algarve International Circuit in Portimão, Portugal.The next event in Alan Baillie’s racing calendar is the Springbok single seater series on 25-26 January 2018 at Zwartkops in South Africa.
