According to Official Guinness Records,

Longest chain of people clasping wrists is 4,222, and was achieved by Negeri Sembilan State Government (Malaysia) in Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, Paroi, Seremban, Malaysia, on 19 August 2017.There were dignitaries from the state government as part of the attempt with coverage from the local news and radio stations.
