The longest surviving quadruple heart bypass patient is Roger H. Lyle (USA, b. 29 April 1931), who has lived for 34 years 267 days, since his transplant on 25 May 1983, in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, as verified on 16 February 2018.Roger, who previously served in the United States Air Force, received quadruple heart bypass surgery at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He is now retired and lives with his wife Muriel in South Carolina.
