Lowest fuel consumption driving to 30 contiguous provinces in China (petrol car)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The lowest fuel consumption driving through all 30 contiguous provinces in China for a petrol car is 2.99 litres per 100 km (94.48 UK mpg;78.67 US mpg) and was achieved by Li Chenyang & Wang Weixin (all China) driving a Roewe i6 16T (1.0T) as part of an event organized by SAIC Motor Corporation Limited (China) between 26 February to 30 March 2017. Li Chenyang and Wang Weixin drove 11,975 km (7,440 miles) during this attempt.
