The most crawfish prepared in 8 hours is 26,346.45 kg (58,083.98 lb), and was achieved by the BigAss Crawfish Bash Foundation in La Marque, Texas, USA, on 1 April 2017. The BigAss Crawfish Bash is an annual crawfish cooking competition and festival. There were 84 competitors, with Best of Gulf Coast prize going to 'Put Some South in Yo' Mouth' team, and Best of Bay going to Cabo Bar & Grill team.
