The most business cards collected in 24 hours is 402 and was achieved by James Fleetham (UK) and C Squared at the Festival of Media Global 2013, in Montreux, Switzerland, on 29-30 April 2013.Record guidelines stipulates that business cards may only be collected individually from the card holder, and while collecting the cards, the participant must interact with card holders (at least reading their names out loud and thanking them for the card). With an hour left to the end, James had to get out in Montreux and get the final 50 cards from passers by and hotels staff. The record proved to be more challenging than James initially thought and he was completely shattered at the end of the 24-hour period. Marco Frigatti adjudicated the record and followed James for the duration of the record ensuring that he would interact and not just collect cards.
